THIS Sunday: Worship with us from the Comfort of Your Own Home

Dear friends,

My hope and my daily (sometimes hourly) prayer is that you and your loved ones are doing as well as you can in the midst of this strange and worrisome time in which we find ourselves.  Please know how much I miss seeing you all in person on a regular basis and how much I value updates from you via email, text messages, and Facebook.

Although the call to social distancing is keeping us separated, we’ve found a way to be together for worship.  A small team has been working hard this week to figure out what kind of technology we need to be able to worship together online.   We think the Zoom video and teleconferencing platform that has become so popular lately is our best option.

Please join us from the comfort of your own home this Sunday morning – TOMORROW – at 11:00am for worship via Zoom.  Be gentle with us as this is our first foray into the world of online worship.  Click here for our Zoom link to join us.  If you want to come early to worship, our Zoom link will open at 10:50am.  Hope to see you Sunday morning!  Bring your own coffee (or in my case Diet Mountain Dew), and invite your friends to worship with us.

Blessings,

Rev. Malinda Weaver

If you think Zoom is simply the noise your car makes when it picks up speed, think again.  The Zoom platform allows people to video teleconference from all over the world.  Begin by going to Zoom’s website to create your online account and/or by downloading the Zoom app to your mobile device.  Once you have an account, you can click here for a beginner’s guide to using Zoom.  If you’re still on the struggle bus (don’t worry, we’ve all been on it at some point in our lives), email Glenn Kinstler and he’ll be happy to help get you started.
