Dear Church Family and Friends,

This Sunday is Pledge Sunday.  This is the time of the year when everyone is invited to prayerfully consider what they can commit to giving to the church for 2022.  The phrase “We’re all in this together!” is especially true in the life of Avondale United Methodist Church.  No one person can sustain and build the missions and ministries of the church.  It truly does take all of us working together to be God’s light on our street corner in Avondale.

As we look toward “a future filled with hope,” I invite you to click here to go online to make your 2022 pledge.  This Sunday in worship, we’ll celebrate the pledges and gifts we’ve received.  In addition, I’ll be encouraging and challenging each of you to be God’s agents of love and mercy in the world as we seek to help others come to know that God is always ready to welcome them with compassion and grace.  I can’t wait to see what God has in store for Avondale in the coming year!
