Many people focus on the judgment of this scripture. Yet Matthew spends more time reflecting on six faces – the hungry, the thirsty, the sick, the incarcerated, the naked, the foreigner. These faces are important. When you see them … truly see them … you recognize the face of God within them. When you show love to them, you show love to God. (Matthew 25:31-46)
