Greeter/Usher
A greeter/usher extends an extraordinary welcome as the face of our church for newcomers. They help to ensure that all guests are welcomed, help guests find their way around, and assist with certain activities in worship like collecting the offering. Anyone can serve in this role who is able to extend genuine love and hospitality.
What’s involved?
- Serve for one month at a time, about 2x per year
- Be present, alert, and available before, during, and after worship to those needing assistance
- Stand at entrances before services to distribute bulletins and greet worshipers
