No matter how you give, whether by cash or check, or by electronic means, giving is an act of worship. Because many people today do not carry cash or check with them, we provide several convenient electronic means to make your contributions to the mission of God through Avondale United Methodist Church.

• Automatic Bank Draft ... Set up a monthly recurring gift with the church office to automatically draft a designated amount from your account.  Please fill out our authorization form (click here to download) to begin the process of setting up your automatic bank draft.  Then email the completed form to our church bookkeeper, Jeanne Baker (jbaker@avonumc.net).
• Cash or Check ... Place your cash or check in the offering plate or mail to the church office. For a record of your cash giving, fill out giving envelopes located in the sanctuary pews.  Checks may go directly into the plate.  To mail to the church office, our address is 500-40^th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35222.
• Alternative Gifts ... Avondale UMC also accepts gifts of stocks, real estate, life insurance, and other assets. Please email church bookkeeper Jeanne Baker (jbaker@avonumc.net) for more information on how to give in this way.
